Pros
Generally good people to work with If you stay long enough you will get promoted Company offers 401k matching program and good benefits
Cons
Long hours overtime during outage season without compensation (70+ hours/week for several months at a time). Lower than average salaries for professionals (engineers) compared to similar positions in the Atlanta, GA area High-turnover rate Management hires people based on "likeability" (and who they know) and not competence/experience, which means you'll likely be working with or for people who have no idea how to do their job Too much of the "good ol' boy" system going on still (in 2015 nonetheless) and I personally came across several sexist people, some of which were in management Some days I would have 6-7 meetings in a day, which kills productivity. Company is behind the times in terms of technology, work pace, diversity, etc.
