Pros
- Store manager was a delight. She listened to the staff and treated them with respect. - Discount benefits are good as you get 50% off your choice of shoe per month, in addition to receiving a free pair 2x a year. - They work around your schedule if you are in school. - Store manager makes you feel comfortable and tries her best to HELP you improve on your weaknesses.
Cons
- While the store manager is nice, the assistant manager is NOT. - If the store manager and the assistant manager are in the store together, you face no problems. Once the store manager leaves you alone with the assistant manager, she becomes bossy and disrespects you and nags on every SMALL wrong mistakes you make (mistakes made not on purpose of course!) - Lots of gossiping (root of problem is the assistant manager like i said earlier) - Paid BELOW minimum wage and then the 2% commission really doesn't make it par with the legal hourly pay (is this even legal???) - If you are legitimately sick and you try to get people to cover your shift and you really cant, so you decide to call in sick - THEY WILL GET VERY VERY ANGRY WITH YOU. - Sales goal.......... how do we try to sell OVER $2000 if everything is on sale in a 3.5 hours shift.... impossible. You can hardly reach 300$
