College grads beware - Crane Operator Gerdau Employee Review

Corporate employees think they work for a tech company, not a steel manufacturer. Company has an aging workforce and severe brain drain. The inmates run the asylum if you know what I mean. Can’t keep any younger employees around for longer than a year. They routinely bait and switch new grads by hiring you as an intern then dumping you into a labor intensive role for the first year (or longer in my case) without a plan for career development.
