A great startup - Guide/Instructor GetSetUp Employee Review

Good group of mission driven team members. Management tries to pivot to keep business going when competition crumbles. The company and team has desire to make this work as a startup.

It is a startup and constantly pivots to stay alive. Not ideal for folks who like to stick to one lane. Your role will probably change many times but it also means you will get to learn a lot if you are up for it.

GetSetUp specifically hires older adults as guides which are part-time positions. Being a guide is a perfect gig for (older) people looking to work part-time since you can set your own working hours. Management is very respectful of its employees - full-timers and part-timers alike. It's a startup which means we pivot as needed, so it helps to be flexible. CEO and top management are truly passionate about what they do.

It would be nice if guides could be paid for additional hours worked on courseware development (currently we are just paid for 1 hour of development time).
