Pros
The scale of the job is enormous and the problems are `usually` really fun to tackle.
Cons
Oh man, where to begin... I can't believe what this company has turned into in the last year. Managers have little to none (closer to none) consideration towards the employees and you can clearly see it from the compensation and benefits, healthcare plan, reckless and rash decisions that affect day-to-day life of employees. Some teams are riddled with nepotism. How things management-wise are being done do not make any sense, AT ALL. Imagine that a manager can fill his/her team with the people s/he REFERENCED AND HIRED. As you can imagine, those people can later be on a highway of career opportunities, while others naturally being a bit left out. Random decisions after random decisions, bad decisions after bad decisions, bad business decisions after bad business decisions, it affects employees so much that as I observe people can't even focus on the job anymore. No one thinks that s/he's being thought of. Lay-offs, promotions being cancelled last mid-year(oh wait is it not cancelled, because they said it was and they then gave those promotions and gave those people little to no raise for these -this process generally made no sense-), constant undermine for raises( our founder thankfully always reminds us to expect a low raise ), and now %100 RETURN TO OFFICE. WOW. One day this and one day that, lots of snap decisions being imposed upon employees, where honestly, they just wanted to work with a peace of mind.
