1. If you are an ENTRY LEVEL ENGINEER you will have an opportunity to learn and develop skills that will help your career. 2. Most peers are friendly and helpful. 3. Immediate managers/leads are approachable.
Cons
1 ) If you are NOT an ENTRY LEVEL ENGINEER and given the internal crisis that the company is facing, you will find things boring after a period of time and will start looking for jobs else where 2) Though most people are friendly, there are few who are absolutely a pain. These folks are usually folks with authority and they enjoy the at most pleasure in making your life a living hell 3) Managers and leads will talk to your for hours to understand your problems. They will not spend a minute to solve them. 4) The company emphasis on things like "One Gigamon" and "Employees First". The management never cares about these values. To give one example, quoting Sr.VP of the company, "Let the Employees leave if they want, I can always hire new ones" 5) An internal crisis -- About 30 percent of the company was laid off this year. In addition to it, many organisational changes were implemented too quickly. Dis-satisfied employees are leaving every week.
