Great for hourly Pay and vacation- but not worth the overtime

Turnover - I witnessed many salary folks go for various reasons but I can say this work/life balance does not exist in Operations. I worked regularly 10-11 hrs per day 6 to 7 days per week. They don’t care about the people. Union Preference - the union will always win and will always have more job security than salary. I saw a union associate get just a 10 day suspension for smoking weed and several salary folks let go for less. Accountability - not correctly attributed. Poor production is blamed on the production supervisor without recognition of poor supply chains and part shortages. Positive vs negative reinforcement - there is no concept of positive reinforcement. Everything is about writing up bad behavior and nothing about reinforcing positive behavior. There is no incentive for a job well done - All stick and no carrot.
