Pros

A lot of good people, good office location, great work / life balance, fair treatment of staff, great projects to work on

Cons

can be slow and a bit bureaucratic but way better than other similar organisations, hard to get a permanent job because they normally promote from within.

Pros

- Flexible employer. - Management are understanding around studies, mental health, and family related circumstances. - Annual training. - Friendly and welcoming team of teachers. - 5 min breaks between classes. - Two week shadowing period for new teachers. - Confidence building.

Cons

- Salary is not as competitive as most private companies. - Not a lot of support for teachers dealing with behavioural challenges in classes so it can be stressful - particularly for less experienced teachers. - Do have long waiting lists so classes are often full and children are sometimes accepted onto the programme who would be better accommodated in additional support needs classes - this can put more pressure on teachers. - Management are rarely present on poolside - Very minimal opportunity for career progression.
