Pros
Pay is virtually always on time.
Cons
If you have received a raise in the last decade with this company (or ammroc) you are one of the lucky ones because the company thinks they can replace anyone with unskilled and zero experience workers for less every year as cost of living goes up. Unprofessional management who have zero experience working on aircraft, yet they run the show making unreasonable demands and time deadlines. Local come and go from work as they please, not required to actually do or learn anything essentially, and are never reprimanded. No career progression, no yearly bonuses, generally unsafe working conditions, out of calibration (required) test equipment. AFAD contract is not good, essentially makes compensation completely different from the other side of GAL that have a much stronger contract with the military in terms of pay and benefits. If you're looking to join a platform that is under AFAD contract don't even bother. Hands down the worst, most miserable organization I have ever been a part of. I would never, never recommend working for GAL to anyone. Never.
