They work in a completely reactive environment based on the CEO's whims. Nepotism is rife so most of the senior management comprises of people who are woefully unqualified for their positions; they just happen to be a cousin of the CEO, etc. There is no planning, foresight or visibility in any of the departments, so therefore a lot of work is repeated or just completely pointless as a prop will go live and then be taken down the following week.
Everything is shrouded in secrecy as there has been a lot of speculation about where the company gets its money.
