Pros

I thoroughly enjoyed working at this firm. All employees are very helpful, and enjoy each other's company. The employee make-up contains people from all kinds of backgrounds, which makes for a very interesting and diverse culture. You get the opportunity to be responsible for multiple projects, which creates a well-rounded job description. Our team building consisted of Yoga classes and pizza parties.

Cons

Personally the only cons to working at this firm as an intern was having to do remedial work in the beginning, however it is helpful to see how systems work from the ground-up. If a system is too time-consuming, management is open to ideas of improvement.

Hi! Thanks for taking the time to submit this. And thanks for pointing out why interns are brought on to begin with...to learn! If we didn't teach you enough, that failing is certainly on us. We openly admit our tendency to "throw everyone into the deep end", but we also want people to explore and try out new things and new areas of the marketing spectrum. Your review was a good reminder to me to check in more and make sure people are being challenged and are empowered to explore more! Thanks!!! Liz

Pros

There have been a lot of changes within the company in the last year and a half to two years. The changes directly addressed previous complaints, making the current work environment extremely conducive to learning and growth. The senior director & VP level employees are easy to talk to and genuinely care for new ideas. They encourage projects that push for efficiency and automation, allowing the company to scale with available technology. Taking initiative is encouraged and guidance is amply available. The current sales and marketing execs make the company what it truly is- a supportive and motivating environment.

Cons

-The people/hr/office management structure needs some more work. The current processes have potential but they need some updates- a few dedicated resources could make things like payroll, benefits, etc much easier to navigate. -The benefits aren't the best but that's the case with most small to mid-sized Bay Area companies. It's more of a problem that has to do with cost-of-living rather than with company.
