Pros
Office location Okay experience for entry-level employees
Cons
Leaving Goalcast felt like ending an abusive relationship. A lot of effort in trying to make it work but ultimately knowing it's not a good fit. The company has questionable practices and direction, and the culture can be hit or miss. While it's an okay place to gain entry-level experience or start as a creative, inexperienced management can be frustrating. They waste time and resources on some projects that do not help the growth of the company. Your experience will depend on your manager and team. There's heavy favoritism from upper management, and payroll issues and high turnover rates are common. If you're looking for a company that values respect, efficiency, good communication, and career advancement opportunities, it's best to look elsewhere. If they tell you that you’re not a culture fit, take it as a compliment. It’s not an environment where you would want to fit in as it currently stands. At the end of the day, it's a start-up. Be prepared to grind, pivot often, and accept that things change quickly with very little communication.
