ceo told me that my dream career wasn’t for me because i was struggling, he was extremely rude throughout the day. he would criticize in front of other employees and rarely give any kind of encouragement. the work was tedious and didn’t feel rewarding or inspiring. he’d asked me to work evenings because that’s the “startup culture.” i always felt nervous being in the office because i felt like I was never up to his standards.
