Pros

Can’t think of any. Friday free breakfast? Agree as good Chinese company for beginners as fresh graduate student if you accept low pay than standard. Acceptable benefit package, health insurance, dental, vision. Friendly working environment; reason is because glass ceiling causes no room for promotion, in this case, there is less politics as you don’t have room for growth, but aware of nepotism.

Cons

Extremely poor management Managers and up lack of management skills No direction as re-org so frequently as management are junior, junior on skill but not ages. Micromanagement without plans Management (managers, directors, VPs) head counts more than hands on staff No career development uncompetitive salary Long working hours US team against Chines HQ team without open mind support Aware of nepotism, somebody will snitch and management will believe it, because management open back doors.

Pros

Working at Goertek Electronics provided valuable exposure to global consumer electronics manufacturing and international customers. As a Sales Operations Associate, I gained hands-on experience supporting sales teams, managing forecasts, coordinating with internal departments (sales, supply chain, engineering, and finance), and communicating with overseas clients. The environment moves quickly, which helps you develop strong execution skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle pressure. You learn how large-scale electronics manufacturing operates, especially in terms of cost control, order management, and customer expectations. For early-career professionals, it can be a good place to build operational discipline and understand how sales operations function within a complex organization.

Cons

The workload can be heavy, with frequent urgent requests and shifting priorities driven by customer demands and production timelines. Work-life balance can be inconsistent, especially during peak periods or when supporting overseas time zones. Career growth and role progression are limited, and advancement paths are not always clearly defined. Decision-making tends to be top-down, leaving little room for autonomy or innovation at the individual contributor level. Communication across teams can sometimes be reactive rather than proactive, leading to inefficiencies.
