First, I’d like to thank you for your 3+ years of service to help build our organization, as well as taking the time to write your review. Discretionary time off ( or “DTO”) was added to our benefits because we recognize the need for employees to take time away from the office and also believe that employees can take personal responsibility for managing their own time, workload, and results. DTO allows employees to take time without the requirement of accruing it to allow more flexibility to take time away when needed.
