Pros
If you are a cut throat salaryman, MAYBE you can squeeze some extra bonus out of this company.
Cons
Super high turnover - >80% of senior development team left within the first year.
No respect for employees - Director shouts and scolds employee openly.
Micromanagement - Management has zero trust on employees to deliver their work. Requires development team to update task reports daily on JIRA which takes up alot of time. If formatting or verbage is not up to "standard", scolding is given.
Bad diversity and inclusion - claims they are building an international team, but holds meetings in mandarin, documentations and reports are written in chinese.
Claims they are agile, but in reality, they do everything waterfall - story points are awarded for bonus calculation purposes, which really is just a carrot that can never be obtained.
Unrealistic development timeline - Ridiculous timeline given for projects from management, and it's not possible to convince them to extend. And during this time, expectations MAY keep changing. And when project falls short of expectations, they blame the development team.
Bonus system - projects are given story points which team members are expected to grab and work. However, if your project slips, or if management or boss decides the project isn't up to expectations or worse, they dun like your face, the project is deemed failed and you will not get the story points you have worked for (or grabbed from your fellow colleagues).
Work expectations - every employee is expected to clock an amount of story points against their salary. If you fail to meet that threshold, you are liable for PIP.
Extremely stressed working condition.
