Pros
remote work- that's all I can think of.
Cons
This company does a really good job of a 'bait and switch'. After 6+ rounds of interviews, you still have no idea what you're getting into. Starting with the exhaustingly long onboarding process- having 1 on 1 meetings put on your schedule with basically everyone in the company just to take up your time. One of the first conversations I had during a 1 on 1, the individual brought up politics and assumed my stance. I immediately felt a sense of uncomfortability and isolation. That feeling continued during my time of employment as I just never felt welcome or fully settled in my role and on my team. The level of micromanagement is ridiculous, with the company holding at LEAST 5 pointless meetings a day- seemingly to just assure you were not walking away from your computer throughout the work day. The expectations of my role were random and not at all what I anticipated, even after the months of interviewing. Everyday was full of anxiety, 'what task that I don't have any prior experience in will they expect me to do without any help today?' The company also boasts about their love for dogs and breeders, however they allow breeders who don't seem to match their health standards to join the community. They also don't listen to the breeders wants at all, as they are just concerned about saving their own behind and making money. All in all, my time here felt like a bad dream and truly contributed nothing to my work experience. Save your time and stay away.
