If I could rate this employer lower than 1 star, I would. Despite their claims of prioritising employees, their mental health and adhering to values, once joined these are completely absent in practice. Senior management lacks direction, shifts blame onto employees, and avoids accountability but will forever tell you to hold yourself accountable. There's no support for career progression, and requests for help with self improvement are met with informal performance reviews. The majority of the department is unhappy, with management's response being 'leave if you don't like it.’ Which most of the team have done and are now doing! Transparency regarding financial matters exists, but not regarding mitigation strategies for losses, resulting in frequent redundancies (I see 3 separate rounds over 18 months) which also made keeping the team settled and ready to hit target an impossible task. Employees are overworked, underpaid, and rarely praised, with criticism far outweighing support. Questioning decisions is discouraged and labeled as negativity. Pay raises are scarce and inadequate, with trivial incentives offered such as Pizza for lunch for rewards of hard work, because apparently if you say thank you or praise the staff “too much” they will think they are doing well when “they are not” despite being over worked. My team were forever putting out fires with customers, with rarely any positive calls or feedback from customers and last but not least the customer success team are not respected by the business or Senior Management AT ALL , We were consistently being told by Senior Management that they were forever trying to justify the need for Success and its budget on every SMT meeting yet they are the pillars to holding it all up. Overall, it's best to avoid this company.
