Pros

Tasks are straight forward for the most part. Nothing is particularly hard to do and you can generally get help with more difficult tasks. A large portion of sales go to a non-profit (Goodwill) which helps people learn job skills for free and helps people find jobs including ones outside of the company.

Cons

For those taking in donations and sorting, handling donations are generally not clean and potential for injury such as from broken glass (gloves are provided). Back injuries possible as well. Some customers/donors could be difficult to deal with.
