      Great pension; good managers; lots of smart colleagues; desire to embrace good working and technical practices (TDD and CI/CD for instance); very user focused; strong salary especially outside London

      Cons

      Pay progression is limited at some point; projects may not be that technically complex to some in private sector; front-end work is quite constrained sure to the (excellent) design system

      - Generally amazing people throughout the organization. - Job security.

      Cons

      Not everyone gets to work on exciting projects. Lack of growth opportunities -- favouritism from leadership Design community has fallen completely since loosing main players. BBC folks don't understand that government services should work for everyone.
