Toxic hierarchical environment - Anonymous employee Graff Diamonds Employee Review

Working at Graff Diamonds was a disappointing experience. The company has a toxic and hypocritical culture where bullying and humiliation are all too common, especially from upper management and directors. You can be shouted at for no reason, and the entire environment depends on the director’s mood, making it an incredibly stressful place to work. The micromanagement is the worst I’ve ever experienced, adding to the already unbearable pressure. Instead of creating a supportive environment, leadership treats employees like soldiers, just there to be ordered around, with no respect for their efforts. Being a family owned business doesn’t help, it only seems to reinforce this atmosphere of fear and disregard. The family treats staff as disposable, with little to no appreciation for the hard work that’s put in. In the end, Graff Diamonds is a place where toxic behaviour isn’t just ignored—it’s encouraged by those at the top. I wouldn’t recommend this workplace to anyone who values respect, dignity or a healthy work culture. If this review helps at least one person reconsider a job offer at this company, I’ll be happy.
