Pros
- Grainger offers great benefits, even to new hires! - They are accommodating to your schedule, whether it is for personal or academic reasons. They will work with you to ensure they can maintain their professional relationship with you, and I appreciate that. - Grainger offers and hosts several opportunities for employees to get together with their friends and families to participate in events that are meaningful and important! If you want to truly feel like your workplace cares for you and puts in the effort, they do! - The people you will work with are welcoming and most importantly, humble. Everyone is always willing to offer helping hands when needed and appreciate every persons input and criticisms. - There are also many opportunities for employees to receive responsibilities that give them proper experience to help them in their career growth! There are many employees who have promoted from within the company based on their merit, and that is awesome! - In all my years being in the workforce, I have never worked in a place where even the senior management knew my name, and yet they do!
Cons
- Communication could be more streamlined, it sometimes feels like you cannot necessarily contact the correct person to address certain issues directly. - Turnover can be quite common, but I believe it is because of the workload. People do not realize what they are getting themselves into when they apply here. I for one, enjoy the work as it keeps me busy constantly throughout the day and I never feel any sense of boredom.
