Pros

You get to meet some really amazing coworkers.

Cons

SO MANY I DON’T HAVE THE TIME OR SPACE TO WRITE IT! The pay is horrendous for the amount of work expected of you. When you are out don’t expect to come back to things being done, your vacation is filled with stress of the pending doom you are returning to! Don’t be late or they will doc your PTO time and to many tardiness issues and you will be written up, oh I’m sorry it’s a blizzard you should have left yesterday then! Don’t complain or you will be written up for being negative and insubordinate. You are expected to be on call for customers 24/7 as if you have no life and yes that includes giving out your personal cell phone number. Work life balance WHAT IS THAT?! I worked in a few departments but it all boils up to the top where the “cool” CEO is actually a villain who doesn’t offer cost of living raises, takes away bonuses including the Christmas bonus but yet he is worth $3.2B make it make sense?! You get one week of sick PTO and if you get sick and run out of PTO you must use your vaca PTO… If you run out of that you get a warning and/or fired if you don’t qualify for FMLA. But still while you are in the hospital dying expect calls and emails asking when you are coming back. Years ago a college degree wasn’t required, then they changed it and now changed it back to be required for certain departments. But for those of us that started years ago before it was required don’t expect your YEARS of knowledge and hard work to be comparable or equivalent to a 4yr degree ( keep in mind the type of degree doesn’t matter so long as you graduated lol what a joke) you will be told you don’t qualify for a promotion due to a lack of college degree. If you have an issue with management or procedures don’t you dare speak up or you will be blacklisted and harassed. There is no real HR department to protect you it’s the in-house legal counsel that only cares about the businesses reputation. Upper management will yell and swear at people but waived off as oh that’s just him (the whole boys will be boys applied here). On your way out management will swear they had no idea of anything bad and gaslight you! The CEO has told employees if you don’t like it you can leave.

Pros

No pros what so ever.

Cons

This company and specifically the collections department have very little opportunity for growth, despite what may be promised during the hiring process. Honestly, it’s a circus. Non stop tasks are thrown at employees each day. And Goals are constantly increased so analyst can’t reach them. Employees who work hard and consistently perform well often find themselves stuck in the same position with no clear path for advancement. Promotions and opportunities never appear to be based on performance or merit. Management is one of the biggest issues. They have no clue. Favoritism is prevalent, and certain employees seem to receive special treatment, better opportunities, and more support than others. This creates a frustrating and discouraging work environment where many employees feel undervalued and overlooked. Morale suffers when performance and dedication are overlooked in favor of personal relationships and when there is little accountability for management and no transparency regarding career development. Communication from leadership is lacking, and employee concerns are not addressed. Management gets defensive when employees ask questions or disagree with their stupid decisions. Overall, it can be a VERY challenging place to build a longterm career if you are looking for fair treatment, professional growth, and strong leadership. Turnover rate is very high. Also, micro management is at an all time high. Would not even recommend this place to a college grad for entry level experience, if i could Put 0 stars, i would. For the sake of your mental health, stay far away.
