Pros

Great atmosphere, sales team is rewarded greatly with a good comp plan. CEO very interactive, helps drive any deal. Management is loose and relaxed as long as you are hitting metrics. Quota obtainable and not cut throat, again as long as you are somewhat hitting metrics and doing your job.

Cons

Bad reviews that lead to prospects ghosting, bad product rollouts, bad premier teams/operations teams, terrible reputation in the telecom industry. Selling deals will often lead to long periods of waiting for a payout / end up not ever converting / not ever getting paid due to the nature of telecom and the poor operations side of Granite. Angry customers screaming at the sales rep for getting billed incorrect $$ / dedicated premier reps not responding to the customer, making it the sales rep's job.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback on your experience at Granite. We appreciate both the positive highlights and the constructive criticisms you provided. We are glad to hear that you value the atmosphere and the rewarding compensation plan for the sales team. It’s great to know that our CEO’s involvement and the relaxed management style contribute positively to your work environment. Ensuring that quotas are achievable while maintaining a supportive environment is a priority for us. However, we acknowledge and take seriously the challenges you’ve highlighted regarding product rollouts, operational inefficiencies, and the company's reputation in the telecom industry. Your feedback about the long payout periods and the difficulties faced by sales reps due to billing issues and non-responsive premier reps is particularly concerning. We understand how frustrating these issues can be and their impact on both you and our customers. Thank you again for your honest review. We are committed to making Granite a better place to work and doing everything we can to support our employees and provide excellent service to our customers.

Pros

No pros what so ever.

Cons

This company and specifically the collections department have very little opportunity for growth, despite what may be promised during the hiring process. Honestly, it’s a circus. Non stop tasks are thrown at employees each day. And Goals are constantly increased so analyst can’t reach them. Employees who work hard and consistently perform well often find themselves stuck in the same position with no clear path for advancement. Promotions and opportunities never appear to be based on performance or merit. Management is one of the biggest issues. They have no clue. Favoritism is prevalent, and certain employees seem to receive special treatment, better opportunities, and more support than others. This creates a frustrating and discouraging work environment where many employees feel undervalued and overlooked. Morale suffers when performance and dedication are overlooked in favor of personal relationships and when there is little accountability for management and no transparency regarding career development. Communication from leadership is lacking, and employee concerns are not addressed. Management gets defensive when employees ask questions or disagree with their stupid decisions. Overall, it can be a VERY challenging place to build a longterm career if you are looking for fair treatment, professional growth, and strong leadership. Turnover rate is very high. Also, micro management is at an all time high. Would not even recommend this place to a college grad for entry level experience, if i could Put 0 stars, i would. For the sake of your mental health, stay far away.
