Pros
Learn a bit about the work field and customer service. Discount on products and free haircuts. The stylists are hardworking and most of the time very cool people to talk to.
Cons
First and foremost I don't have a desk. The system makes no sense, even when I think I am doing a great job, I will get complaints because (for example) a girl decides to get her haircut changed to a shampoo and haircut. I eventually became the "cleaning lady" because the stylists tend to think they know the computer better than I do and tell me to do laundry or clean the combs while they check customers in and out. And then I am the one that gets in trouble if the stylists do something wrong with the computer. Overall not a good place for your first job. Terrible pay.
