      Pros

      Great for starting out and learning. Good walk ins to practice on

      Cons

      no set schedule, never a weekend off. Low pay. No Sick days. franchise owners do not cut, have no clue how hard this job is on your body. And the customer is NOT always right. You should have your employees back sometimes.

      Pros

      Great co-workers, good tips, generally busy, clientele overall friendly, management is super cool and will try to be as flexible as possible with your schedule.

      Cons

      Working evenings and weekends, but that is salon life.

      Flexible schedules, 401k, health, & dental benefits, bonuses (based on salon performance, base wage with poetional to hit commission on service & product sales, fun friendly & welcoming environment for employees/customers, continuing education for growth in the industry, professional career growth with Great Clips (depending upon your franchise)

      Cons

      Haircutting exclusive so if you enjoy other services in the industry (chemicals, waxing, updo styling) this is not the place Franchised salons, so salons are ran differently.
