At best this is a medium sized health insurance company, they are trying to convince themselves that they are a tech company. The structural pieces to achieve their ambition is laughably absent, most glaringly at leadership levels. Certain groups like product and technology have leaders who have no relevant experience for their leadership positions. The rest of the leaderships teams have all joined Greenshield in recent years having worked together in the past, which leads to irrational group think. There has been a steady stream of exits at the Director/VP+ levels, due to the unrealistic expectations of the leadership team. Take a look at the Greenshield+ app store ratings for a sense of how well their plans are going. Greenshield will hire someone based on their 15-20+ years of experience, but defer to friend's of the leadership team acting as consultants for decision making.
Another thing is the questionable nature of the non-profit status of Greenshield. This is an absolute for-profit insurance company.
The company also went on strike for the first time in its history last year.
If I were to wager, all positive reviews are fake. Look at the remaining ones to get a real sense of this place. Beware
