Pros
As it is a virtual practice, you can essentially run your own private practice while you get your hours for licensure, you can stay relatively removed from the seemingly endless drama of the clinic management. Many people on here say the pay is low, but I found it to be aligned with industry standard (which *is* very low, clinics tend to keep about 60% of the hourly rate per session). They seem to be doing their best to get what benefits they can for a relatively small company.
Cons
There are a lot of negative reviews here, so I want to be as fair and as specific to my own experience as I can. 1. The supervision offered is from non-experienced clinicians, often people who have only just received their licensure themselves. 2. You are not allowed to set your own hours, you are required to see 7 clients per day. For me, this was exhausting and significantly impacted the level of care I was able to provide clients. Also, they leave no time for note taking, encouraging therapists to write notes while in session with clients. 3. Therapists are required to solicit 10 Zoc Doc reviews upon starting with the company. I expressed concern, stating that it is unethical to solicit reviews from clients. I was told to solicit them from friends and family. This is dishonest and unethical. 4. Administration is consistently unaccountable for errors, even when they directly impact client care. This is not a single person issue, it is across the board with every admin team member across divisions. 5. I was often unsure if the clinic was about to be under ethical or legal investigation or about to go under altogether. I'm not sure that they are built to last.
