Pros
First four weeks training goes through the basic financial modelling skills needed for M&A, quite demanding, but you get out what you put in really, so if you meet deadlines on time and receive relevant feedback you can learn a lot from it
Cons
Second four weeks wasn't as expected, you learn a bit about the process of M&A including the mandates and client contact methods and work on a few projects but would prefer a bit more hands-on experience, which would be easier if the company expanded, i.e. hired a few more senior analysts/associates that can work more closely with interns.
