Good career and enjoyed the patrons of the GCLS.

No other job in the system interested me.

Patrons generally are very appreciative of the work employees do.

It's a very political working environment. A small handful of people at the top control the fates of the majority of employees and they favor those who don't complain or advocate for improvement. It's well known among staff that there are black lists of employees even though Admin pretends there aren't. Staff speak of abusive working conditions along the lines of gaslighting and being told things are great when they are not. There is a steady drain of talent from staff who can't take it anymore. Some staff have had emergency room visits from stress-induced medical issues. Major problems are ignored or are dealt with by having meetings that lead to nothing.
