Pros
* Good engineering culture and WLB * Great people to work with (talented and collaborative) * Moving towards good modern tech stacks, have learned a lot * Technical work is interesting and engaging * Mission everyone can get behind * Handles fully remote & hybrid workers well
Cons
* Odd lack of transparency in some areas (e.g. company performance, who our customers are and how many, internal compensation processes, don't share wins) * Saddled with technical debt, and we have difficulties sustaining our efforts to remove it (making progress though!) * WLB might not be so good in customer-facing roles * Micromanagement in odd ways (well-meaning CPO does cowboy engineering, senior leadership wants weekly status of every 3 person team, an expensive weekly all-managers meeting) * Health benefits are expensive to employees * Glassdoor reviews have a tendency to disappear
