Pros
The customers are probably the best part since you're interacting with them all day. My coworkers were extremely helpful and were down-to-earth people for the most part, especially since we were of the same age group.
Cons
Management, big time. Since this was my very first job I felt lost and nervous the first week I was there. My "training" consisted of a YouTube video and a fifteen minute overview of a cash register, then I was pushed into the deep end. Since I was new, all I was allowed to do was work the cash registers. Whenever I had a question, I would ask my coworkers instead of the manager. The manager was intimidating and condescending in their tone, and I would be extremely reluctant to ask them questions. Later on I saw that there was a lot of favoritism and I was being treated unfairly. At one point I was getting shorter breaks/lunches than my coworkers. Within a month I saw 5 people leave, and it's probably due to that reason. Customers have even reported the high amount of turnaround in employees, so that says a little something about working for the compant.
