Pros
I worked here when there were a lot larger staff numbers as well through the redundancy situation which had been a massive roller coaster with this my first job in recruitment but also an outlook of how things were and are now.
An unsteady and uneasy feeling into 2017 I wasn't sure what to expect but had a plan set from January to get on top of my commission again to where I was at the redundancy stage by the end of 2017. I'm well on my way due to to a continued flow of work, no longer jumping internal barriers/politics like before hand and having a lot more of an individual say across my teams recruitment which has been great.
Commission structure is clear and rewarding, you know what you need to do and you get out what you put in which keeps me motivated.
Office environment is great - dress down policy, open working space, relaxed environment (Dog friendly etc.)
Company benefits, healthcare, gym etc.
Cons
Long hours, a given in Recruitment however
Out of office trips across the country - eats into your free time and I have often have found myself volunteering due to colleagues making excuses, I feel there should be a recognition on this (Gain annual leave the more you do?)
Salary reviews - Working towards increases upon good performance would be an even further motivator.
