Pros

I cannot think of any my entire experience was terrible. And my patients complained about grow support being rude to them and charging them money that they did not owe

Cons

This is a terrible company. I now Work for HEADWAY which is another video therapy company. I have had zero complaints from patients. And if I have an occasional problem Headway support staff is polite and helpful I had many patients complain about charges that they said were fraudulent. PATIENTS DON’T JUST WRITE A BAD REVIEW HERE. Tell your insurance company. .They will care & do something. I do not believe the good reviews on this and other sites. I believe they are written by grow itself. There are many things wrong with their software. So it can be difficult to for patients and therapists to schedule appointments. Or got therapists to write notes on patient sessions but their support staff doesn’t care. If you call them you don’t even get voicemail after you wait for a long time address then it says call later. And when you email support good luck getting a response because you won’t. Or if they do they are rude and unhelpful. Therapy is a very ethical business and a company needs to be ethical

Pros

Grow Therapy has been a solid fit for me as a licensed therapist looking for flexibility without having to build everything from scratch. Scheduling is entirely in your hands, making it easy to balance with other work or life commitments. Access to free CEUs is a real perk I didn't fully appreciate until I started using it. As someone who has to maintain licensure hours, having that built in saves both money and the hassle of hunting down training on my own. That said, it's still a platform model, so if you go in expecting a traditional employer experience, you'll need to adjust your expectations. You're running your own caseload, which is great if that's what you want, and less ideal if you need a lot of structure or support. Overall, I'd recommend it to clinicians who are self-directed, want to ease into or expand a private practice, and value autonomy over hand-holding.

Cons

Referrals can be slow at times. Reimbursement rates can vary greatly depending on insurance.
