Pros

Great concept for an organisation that has attracted some award-winning talent Seem to have a great list of potential lead driving organisations Well priced compared to large consulting organisations. Early diagnostic tools are basic but effective.

Cons

They don't seem to be able to close or qualify quality clients. Leadership has a large ego and little ability to listen to clients or principal consultants. They are not aligned to the new use of technologies and have very basic level consulting capabilities. They are money focused to a point of leading customers astray of what they truly need. The senior partner and founder consistently undermine his consultants with his significant inferiority complex. The communication is abysmal for such a small organisation. The are very untrustworthy and have not paid many of their past consultants. They don't know how to market to get them to the next level. The 2nd partner is just a "lap dog" for the egocentric founder and will do whatever he is told be it good judgment, honest, or appropriate. He has no listening skills, be it client based or with the team. It is a toxic organisation. The pitch to senior consultants sounds like a great idea for interesting work on a fractional basis but the reality is far from the truth. Stay clear of this organisation to work for or contract with.

Pros

There are not any 'pros' which one might associate in working with GP.

Cons

You may or may not receive payment for work done. The excuses as to why are numerous and even comical at times. Be prepared to either take a moonlighting job in a collections function, or have a legal aid on hand. Ownership has negligible EI skills, yet they attempt to educate others around the concepts of Emotional Intelligence (both internally and with their client base) Irony at it's finest!!! Ownership talks an impressive game, but has no evident ability to implement any processes or relevant strategies for their own company. Zero visibility is offered to their Principals as to what work might be coming down the funnel. Internal communication is few and far between. If you enjoy being on an island with big promises but little to show for it - this might be the place for you.
