Recently they let go of a lot of women specifically. Some left on their own because of too much stress. One of them commented how the higher-ups are snakes, which is a nice way of putting it. They hire, just to fire and say they are growing and show their employees they're growing, and then suddenly employees disappear and you hear they've been let go. They work their employees to the bone, but claim to have a good work-life balance, which is non-existent, because the CEO has impossible standards and admits it himself, setting benchmarks that don't make sense and expecting employees to meet t hem regardless of whether it's possible. He believes everything he says is gold and is not a plesant person to work with unless you just smile and nod at his wishes. HR only communicates and complies with the wishes of the leaders, leaving employees to feel unimportant and unsupported. They promote the higher-ups but don't show any gratitude to the employees who do the day-to-day work. There is very little employee engagement and welfare and the culture is just work, work, work, work eith no perks you would find at a typical (what they're claiming as a successful) startup in this day and age.
