Pros

Some of the employees (packers) were fun to work with.

Cons

Negative environment. Horrible CEO and depressed employees. The list goes on. Any business in the food sector should be a joy to work for (especially organic food). But this is not the case. The CEO does not care about the well being of the customers or employees, he is just in this business to make a quick buck!

Pros

Grubmarket has a highly skilled team that's deeply engaged in the product and always willing to help each other out. Everyone here is a high performer, which pushes the whole team to do their best work. Management is responsive, supportive, and leads by example. As a SaaS product, we get immediate feedback from customers and work closely with them to build solutions, so you see firsthand the impact of what you ship. The work is challenging in the best way, allowing you to grow quickly and take on new responsibilities fast. I've learned a tremendous amount and developed my skills significantly in my short time here. The team is also great at recognizing each other's contributions and celebrating our successes.

Cons

Fast pace means you need to be comfortable with rapid iteration and handling both positive and negative feedback on releases quickly.

Pros

Excellent learning opportunities — You get exposure to real projects early on, which allows you learn from mentorship from senior team members. Helps a lot with growth and knowledge about the business. Strong work-life balance — managers respect boundaries around time off and after-hours work, so I stay productive during the day without feeling burnt out. Friendly, collaborative environment. There's a real culture of people helping each other rather than competing, and leadership is approachable rather than distant. Supportive culture that challenges you while still making you feel backed up.

Cons

Can be a fast-paced environment, priorities can shift quickly, so staying flexible and adaptable is helpful.
