Compensation is aligned with performance well and if your team performs, you can do well for yourself. Also, need to to make sure you negotiate an appropriate salary when you start as raises can depend on the company's overall performance versus your own individually.
Cons
Lack of opportunity for advancement, unless you are very flexible with re-location. Work/life balance is a struggle.
