Pros

This company is family-owned and as such, they are acting like all employees are part of the family and they care about you. They are here to support you, push you and help you advance your career. Great growth potential. Working from home is a great benefit if you have discipline and you can focus and if you don't mind spending less time among people. You can have doctor or kids school appointments during the day and make up the hours which means you can have a good work/life balance. Compensation is competitive but of course, it depends on your industry experience and skill set.

Cons

In the hospitality industry, many days can be rough because you are in the service industry and you are trying to help people. At the same time, there is a rewarding feeling that in the end, you did help someone. A lot of issues can arise after hours so you do need to be ready to put it the extra time and effort. Again being in such an industry, workload depends greatly on upcoming events. Many days can be overwhelming but if you learn how to deal with the stress and many outstanding tasks, you can accomplish a lot.

Pros

Working from home full time

Cons

CEO is owners son who is clearly unqualified; spent a ton of money on a new system that took years to implement because he had zero leadership skills to enforce implementation. When he ran the company to the ground, choose to lay-off employees who had been there for 8+ years and i kept new employees (probably because they got paid less, but did not consider work quality, or moral - showed zero human decency). Work was very boring and repetitive. They started hiring people for every specific task needed for events (like a factory) which did not make sense economically or for job satisfaction. No opportunities for growth.
