Pros

1. Elite, “must-watch” content HBO is known for high-quality series like Game of Thrones, The Sopranos, etc. Consistently produces award-winning shows and “event TV” 2. Strong movie library One of the best collections of movies among streaming platforms Includes Warner Bros films, classics, and new releases 3. High-quality over quantity Focuses on curated, premium content rather than flooding the platform Many reviews rate content quality extremely high (often near 10/10) 4. Solid overall experience Clean interface and easy navigation Profiles, downloads, and multi-device streaming supported 5. Extra content beyond HBO Includes Discovery, reality TV, documentaries, and even some sports

Cons

1. Expensive compared to competitors Plans typically range ~ $10–$23/month Ad-free tiers especially pricey 2. Smaller catalog than Netflix/Prime Fewer total shows and movies than some competitors 3. Content rotates Movies and shows can disappear unexpectedly 4. App issues (sometimes) Some users report buffering or performance problems 5. Not always “daily use” Many people subscribe for specific shows, then cancel
