Pros
HCL's policies are archaic. While work-life balance is good, employees have to be treated better. Laptops are given only for a few bands and the rest have to slog it out at untimely hours as well. The timesheet policy sucks and can definitely be removed because there is really no use out of it. There are several such details that the company can do away with. The pay and hikes have to brought up to scale. The basis on which promotions, bands, recognitions are done have to be made more transparent. If your manager likes you, you're on top.

Good if you're looking a low-paying, low stress job.
