Unrealistic deadlines and project goals delegated by the ignorant and hardly knowing to the barely willing - Senior Trainer HCLTech Employee Review

Pros

Work experience for the resume, literally it.

Cons

HCL did a crack job deleting my last review so I'm back again to re-emphasize that HCL America (not to be confused with HCL as a whole) is a failure of the imagination. Regardless, whatever account you're working on, at some point India is going to get involved and micromanage it until they've pushed everyone off the account and rotated out until they're fully overseas. HCL does not want to do business in America and has no interest in the professional development or growth of US-based employees. You owe it to yourself to pursue employment elsewhere, this company will mentally and physically drain you until you quit or are otherwise forced to lay you off.

Cons

Some processes could be more organized as the company continues to grow. Communication between teams can sometimes be improved.

Pros

Data Center Exposure Free lunch in cafeteria at Mesa location Can have a lot of downtime Not aggressively tracking you on everything Job is not difficult

Cons

no free lunch for other locations in valley Pay could be better Only contracted to work with the data center company, HCLTech could potentially lose the contract not directly employed by data center company. No benefits if working through an agency, only paid holidays if direct HCL. Management is a bit scattered.
