Pros

Benefits is not that great but it's a lot better than the competition. I know in my heart that HD Supply is a good company to work for in general.

Cons

The real downside working with HD Supply Stockton, is not the company itself in general, but the questionable competence of the senior management and the supervisor itself. Managers and supervisors alike are not that qualified in running the company. Managers for example do not know what's the meaning of "COST EFFECTIVE in running a business like HD Supply. They only "want to get the job done at all cost undermining the safety of its employees by making people work more than the law will allowed. Imagine a centain employee work more than 16 hrs straight, is more like a dead man walking and its a potential candidate for a very serious accident. Some supervisors specially in warehouse 05, needs a very serious training in management. Most of them doesn't know what"is "CONTINGENCY PLAN" is all about. They should know how to run their respective department or area in a most effective manner with great result without sacrificing the safety of those associates that works for them. To summurize the point that i want to make is, both managers and supervisors should open their eyes around them and find out the root of the problems, study them and make a neccesary adjustment and be consistent.

There is job security if you can get past the cons.

They say they care; unless you request a pay raise, a future path, ask the why's to policies, or ask if they would be willing to do a hybrid shift if they are not going to subsidize gas with the prices right now. Jacksonville is very cliquish, If you make their favorite supervisor made, then all of leadership is mad at you. They will find a way to fire you if they so please instead of giving you a chance to make improvements. Health is not important to them. You will pay 1400 dollars a month in insurance for your family, and if you use it, then get ready for those co-pays, They offer tuition program, unless you would like to be reimbursed per their SOP. Do not fear! You will not get a pay raise for education acheivements
