Pros
I might sound a little biased because I enjoy challenges, but I have yet to experience a dull moment or a boring week. If you enjoy the thrill of building new products that makes people's lives easier and if you like collaboration and working on team projects this is your dream company.
I can talk all day about how awesome the company's PTO, work life balance, events and parties, trips across the world for research and business development, internal sports parties (basketball, football, baseball etc.) , chili cook-off, picnics, team building events and weekly healthy snacks are, but what I really want to tell you is that working at HMS is like working at home away from home (except no PJs, OK maybe on Halloween) everybody care about your well-being and your development (especially upper management), they want you to be in a position where you can accomplish great things. Recognition of hard work is one of many attributes that will keep you performing at a high level.
Cons
The majority of professionals working at HMS are multi-talented, skilled, experienced and academically accomplished. It is always a challenge to be able to extract and utilize all those great resources efficiently. But I believe upper management have been working hard on trying to take advantage of all the raw talents currently employed.
