Pros

Hop Wtr makes an innovative beverage in the growing non-alcoholic beverage space.

Cons

The CEO is not trustworthy. He frequently lies to his employees and expects them to lie for him. He lies by omission to his investors about the company's past performance and expected future performance. He creatively cheats his employees out of fair and reasonable compensation under the guise of CEO discretion (e.g., unfairly delayed bonuses and far below earned payouts). He is often paralyzed by decisions that he wants to have data to support but doesn't. Often these unsupported decisions are ones that he has already made but has not shared. This is because he knows that his decisions will be unpopular because they are not supported by facts but rather his biases. He has the habit of saying to his employees something he knows to be untrue in the hopes of motivating them (e.g., his grossly exaggerated forecast of equity payouts, his statements about other companies' lower operating costs, etc.). What most people would say is a misrepresentation he believes is clever Marketing (e.g., non-substantiated physiological benefits of the very small amounts of nootropics and adaptogens in the product). His key "skill" is his ability to creatively hide/disguise his lies and manipulations so that the casual observer doesn't notice them. However, experienced and observant operators eventually figure it out. This is why the CEO has not been able to retain competent and honest senior managers.

Pros

Occasional free sparkling water, some income

Cons

They take forever to pay you, take the cheapest and least responsible approach to complete projects, and will go back on agreements/weasel out of responsibilities any way they can. Don't work here.
