Pros

-financially takes care of their employees...until they fire everyone -good experience for real estate newbies. They don't require anyone to be able to financially model

Cons

-C-suite and SVP and above think they are all the smartest individuals in their fields...while their entire firm tanked and all the assets they work on -C suite members are extremely rude to juniors in meetings and act like any small mistake is the end of everyone's careers. They never get to know anyone lower in the chain even though there are only like 30 people who show up everyday to work. especially bad

Pros

It is a really exciting time to be with HCP. We've had a well-established foothold in the commercial/industrial markets, but have really taken over the studio and production markets in the last 5-7 years. I don't see us slowing down anytime soon. HCP is a great place for those who have an entrepreneurial spirit... and the people are great. Hackman offers really good benefits too. Medical, dental, and vision are all PPO, and 100% free for employees. I'm pretty sure they're nearly 100% covered for those with husband/wives/kids too. Brand new office in downtown Culver City... Free lunches most days.

Cons

The business has expanded a lot in the last decade, and that inevitably comes with growing pains. But I think people are willing to adapt and grow to new processes- I just takes time. Communication from management could be improved (though, I think that would be true for most companies).

Pros

Robust family-friendly benefits. Intelligent and driven colleagues. Unique alt asset class with tremendous continued growth potential.

Cons

Internal siloes - ideally mitigated through regular all-hands updates etc.
