Pros
Decent pay and they are paying out bonuses again under new management. Have provided flexibility to work remotely during pandemic. Some wonderful, dedicated employees I sincerely enjoy. Staff includes many dedicated and talented people.
Cons
Hard to know where to start because the problems are severe and pervasive. Company morale is terrible and getting worse. Company knows this but fails to realize that teaching us to do meditative breathing won’t help unless they address the root causes. Turnover is high. The good people keep leaving. It only takes about 6 months for new hires to hate their jobs. It seems the only people who don’t hate working here are the senior leadership. And I agree with other reviewers that the positive reviews on Glassdoor must be from senior leaders or HR who are trying to do damage control. Even with the high turnover, layoffs keep coming as management continues to look for ways to cut costs. This is true even during the pandemic. Few in corporate office feel they have job security. Everyone below the senior leadership level is scared of the CCO. The stories are endless. He’s essentially a CSO who now has reign over other functions for which he is unqualified to handle and is drunk with power. He’s full of himself and can’t handle criticism. Lots of inefficiencies as people try to work around him or appease him because they’re afraid to push back. I concur with all the other negative comments written here about him. They’re all true. Company has been “going through a transformation” for over two years under new CPG management and has lost its morale compass in the process. If you want to feel proud to work for a company with natural integrity, look elsewhere. The place has been crawling with consultants while at the same time they’ve cut back core teams. Everything is a priority. There are so many new processes in place that people are constantly confused. There’s a lot of inefficiency and micromanaging. There’s a lot of fear. People are very overworked. It’s impossible to get your job done without working late nights and weekends. Management works these hours too, and sets unreasonable deadlines, so it’s the expectation whether it’s clearly stated or not. Training and development are neglected because people don’t have time. Bottom line: Employees aren't valued and work life balance is abysmal.
