1 month after receiving my performance bonus, I was laid-off WITHOUT severance. Even though I was exceeding my plan and had done nothing wrong, the severance is discretionary and they chose not to pass it on so the company could save money. They treat people like dirt, no matter how hard you work for them. I was with them for 5 years and had 2 competitors (Hilti and Jordahl) reach out to me for jobs and I turned them both down, because I was loyal. Management is NOT loyal to its employees at CRH.
