The thing that stood out to me the most is the communication tools and efforts they put forth to make sure their developers are adequately informed and have the information we need to do our jobs well.

The team and the clients are great

CEO is moody and impulsive. He'll ask you to do something a specific way and then berate you for doing it that way. It's a small company with no HR, so there are no checks and balances to mitigate his bad behavior. The benefits are not good. Pay is significantly below industry standard. Raises are laughably small if you can get one at all. Goalposts are always moving. Working here will be a particularly bad experience if you are a woman and/or POC. Standard practice seems to be hiring a team of smart and talented people, and then working them into the ground until they quit one by one. Rinse and repeat.
