Pros

Culture and people I worked with were wonderful. Senior leadership was always in communication even for one on one pulse checks and updates compensation was slightly above average

Cons

Industry was very difficult to sell into, unless targeted companies had a project health benefits were a little high monthly for a family

Pros

- Inspiring leadership that strives to bring transparency to the team - regardless of your location across the globe - A culture of innovation and curiosity - Freedom to get and give feedback throughout the organization - Ability to move around the organization across teams for those who wish to do so

Cons

- As with any startup, change is the name of the game so if you are lucky enough to join the organization please bring along an open mind and a "can do" attitude because there will be a lot of pivoting as the organization evolves quickly.

Pros

Everyone is passionate about what they are doing and working towards and genuinely trying to make a difference in work culture across the world

Cons

However, the product does not meet industry standards and the culture is not all its cracked up to be behind the scenes. Concerns had been raised about potential burn out by leadership, they were completely ignored and then people needed to take leaves or leave altogether due to mental health / burn out. Startups promote and wear being overworked with pride -- it is dangerous, takes advantage of underpaid employees, and overall neglectful of your employees you call "family" There's also not any career progression in a company that doesn't know if they will have the funding to pay employees and stay in business in a month.

Hello, Glad to hear that you feel - as do I - that our peers are passionate about trying to make work a happier place. As co-founder and CEO, this is my number one priority, and that mission extends to making our own team happier at work as well. I’m saddened to hear that you don’t feel that our product meets the industry standards, as we are constantly hearing opposite feedback from our customers, and continue to keep our product vision at the core of our business. I understand that burnout is a concern of yours which we have also discussed in our leadership team. We have hired 60 new Happsters during this year in order to balance the workload, which can be sometimes a lot in a scaling company. I wholeheartedly stand by our Happeo family as they take holidays, parental leave, or sick leave, and I encourage all Happsters to prioritize their own mental health - always. As for funding, I can say with absolute certainty that we are nowhere even remotely close to "not staying in business in a month”. As we are an organization that is All-for-one and One-for-all, I urge you to share your voice and feedback within the organization. I have always kept an open door for any kind of feedback and I take all feedback very seriously, I hope you can approach me directly if there are areas how we could make Happeo a better place to work.
